Producing small, nimble day sailing vessels, North Carolina-based Fiberglass Unlimited specialized in lightweight catamaran-style boats. Fiberglass Unlimited would produce Aquaskimmer and Wingsailer monohull sailboats into their later years in business. Operating from 1972 until 1986, the Fiberglass Unlimited branded sailboats produced over 700 examples of their Isotope vessel.
