A business built on the popularity of a 13-foot small sailing dinghy designed by Richard Reid, Barry Bruch established Banshee International in sole purpose of supplying small craft. These sailing boats are popular among sport wind racing organizations. Producing these racing sail boats from 1977 to 1986, the last year of production also featured a rare, highly-lightweight Gryphon weighing just 80 pounds.
