Headquartered in Pointe Claire, Quebec, Laser International produced a range of sailboats and powerboats for the recreational consumers. The leading product Laser International produced was a 14-foot sailboat known simply as the Laser. A fiberglass boat conceived by famed sailboat designer Bruce Kirby, Laser International versions of this popular has contributed to as many as 200,000 total built by varying companies. In 1988, Laser International produced their final boats but the legacy connected to their vessel endures through racing clubs.
