Founded in 1937 as an airplane builder, Mayer Industries migrated into aluminum boat construction during the 1950s. Producing small fishing and dinghy quality boats, Meyers Industries are outboard motor propelled vessels designed for strength. Meyers Industries was purchased and assembled under new management in 1991 as the Meyers Boat Company.
