Entering the market of sailing vessels in 1963 with a 28-foot boat, Soverel Performance Yachts would operate through 35 years in the state of Florida. Producing sailboats up to 50 feet in length, the majority of Soverel Performance Yachts were designed in-house by Bill Soverel and later with by his son Mark. Soverel Performance Yachts most popular boat, a 33-foot sailing craft first built in 1983, was one of the company’s most revered designs for sailboat racing. The Soverel 33 design was also produced under Pacific Boat Works and Tartan Marine.
