Bob Hammond, the creator of Glastron Boats, formed a marine manufacturer wearing his name in 1974 dedicated to building high-quality, high-speed bowriders. Producing inboard motorboats with speeds capability ratings over 50 miles per hour, Hammond also produced outboard boats. Marketing vessels between 17 and 21 feet in length for 11 years, Hammond boats ceased operations in 1985. Despite a short time period in business, Hammond boats received recognition with greatness earning several annuals from magazines.
