Assembled in 1966 as a builder of larger sailing vessels, Bristol Yacht Company was founded in Rhode Island State. Bristol Yacht Company has a reputation for constructing the United States’ first successful fleet of large sailboats manufactured with fiberglass. Featuring excellent cabinetry and high-grade material use, Bristol Yacht Company were admirable vessels. Selling their final yachts in 1994, the marine company officially closed in 1997.
