Producing powerful flat-bottom vessels in Fremont, California, Tahiti Boats entered the market during the early 1970s. While Tahiti Boats was not considered a high performance powerboat builder, watercrafts produced by the company have enviable speed through rivers and lakes. Featuring propulsion from stern drive and jet drive marine powerplants, fiberglass vessels created by Tahiti Boats range in length from 16 to 30 feet. Tahiti Boats production concluded after the 1996 model year.
