Carrera Boats constructed a wide-range of high-performance boats powered by outboard, stern drive and jet drive motors. A California-based boat builder, Carrera Boats are presented in open and closed bow configurations. Founded in 1978, the original Carrera Boats filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy in 1994. Vessels belonging to the Carrera Boats line up continued to be manufactured under the new company name Carrera Performance Craft until 2008.
