A Largo, Florida sailboat builder, Morgan Marine was identified for the creation of weekend and vacation cruising vessels. Quickly Founded in 1962, Morgan Marine originally built the a sailboat known as the Tiger Cub before progressing to yachts that would eventually reach up to 62 feet in length. Morgan Marine was sold to Beatrice Foods in 1968 and later to Catalina Yachts in 1984. Under Catalina Yachts, Morgan Marine would operate until the 2003 model year.
