Centered on the creation of powerful, race-inspired boats, the Skater brand were sold by the Douglas Marine Corporation based in the state of Michigan. Using a fiberglass tunnel hull, Skater/Douglas Marine powerboats were 21 to 46 feet in length. Skater/Douglas Marine watercrafts have been developed for both pleasure and racing clientele. First produced in 1978, Skater/Douglas Marine production concluded with the 2008 model year.
