Founded by Breck Marshall in 1962, the Marshall Marine Corporation has become a well-known producer of catboats. Started with the production of a fiberglass-version of the Sanderling day sailing boat, the 22-foot sloop and catboat was added in 1968. Marshall Marine Corporation has also acquired the molds for the Sakonnet 23 previously produced by Edey & Duff. After almost 50 years of operation in the state of Massachusetts, more than 1,700 vessels have been built by Marshall Marine Corporation.
