The base trim is the CL500 which has a 5.0L V8 engine under the hood generating 315 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful CL600 features a 389 hp 6.0L V12 engine which produces 420 lb-ft of torque. Both versions are RWD and utilize a five-speed automatic transmission.
