A two-door, high-performance sports car, the 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera is available as a coupe, convertible, or with a removable targa roof. The 911 sends its power to the rear wheels. The 911 is powered by a 3.6L horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine that produces 282 hp. The standard transmission choice is a six-speed manual however the popular five-speed Tiptronic automatic is available as well.
