The 1998 Suzuki Sidekick is a sub-compact SUV which is available as a four-door hardtop or a two-door with a removable soft-top. The Sidekick is fitted with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine that produces 95 hp and is rated at 26 mph on the highway with RWD. A larger 1.8L engine is available which produces 120 hp, is rated at 25 mpg on the highway, and comes standard on Sidekicks outfitted with 4WD.
