Big news for 2000, for the automaker’s mid-size line-up, is an available high-performance Sedan known as the M5. The BMW 5 series is offered in 528i models as four door Sedans and four door Wagons as well as 540i models as four door Sedans and four door Wagons. Rounding out the series is the four door Sedan M5. Under the hood, engines range from a 193 horsepower 2.8-liter inline 6-cylinder to a 400 horsepower 5.0-liter V8.
