Like the Ford Mustang, this 2000 Mercury Cougar is a modern interpretation of a classic design, a sporty two-door with seating for four. The Cougar is available in two versions; a 125 hp four-cylinder or one with a 2.5L V6 engine which develops 170 hp. The standard transmission is a five-speed manual however a four-speed automatic is optional. The Cougar comes well-equipped with standard features such as heated door mirrors and 15" alloy wheels.
