The 2000 Volvo S80 is a full-size premium FWD sedan that comfortably seats five passengers. Two trims are available; the 2.9 and the T6. The 2.9 is powered by a 2.9L inline six-cylinder engine which produces 197 hp. The T6 features a 268 hp 2.8L inline-six which benefits from a turbocharger. Both engines are linked to a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and both are rated right around 25 mpg on the highway.
