Offering the Cooper and Cooper S models once-again for 2003, MINI has succeeded in capturing the nostalgia of the original British-based subcompact car one year after the BMW-owned brand's debut in the United States. Small but roomy, the 2003 MINI Cooper three-door hatchback provides accommodations for up to four passengers. Sold as a premium compact vehicle, MINI Cooper models come well-equipped with standard features such as air conditioning, remote keyless entry and a stereo system with CD player. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on the base Cooper while a six-speed manual gearbox is found with the 163-horsepower Cooper S.
