The 2004 Kia Sorento is solidly-built and powerful, but not as expensively priced as other midsize SUV competitors in its class. This model year features a newly-introduced Sport Package as well as the addition of manual transmission to the line-up. The Sorento is available in two trims – the LX or the EX – with either manual or automatic transmission depending on the configuration. Power comes from a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 192 horsepower and 217 1b.-ft of torque. Amenities include head-protecting curtain side airbags as well as 16-inch wheels.
