For 2005, Ford adds a 50th anniversary edition to its two door Convertible line-up. The 2005 Ford Thunderbird is offered in Deluxe, Premium and 50th Anniversary trim levels with production for the Thunderbird scheduled to end this model year. The Thunderbird is equipped with a standard 280 horsepower 3.9-liter V8 and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Buyers have the option of an automatic-folding soft top or a removable hard top. With passenger capacity for up to two, the Thunderbird features auto climate control, bucket seats, power accessories and ABS.
