A carryover for 2005, the Eclipse is a two-door four-passenger sport coupe available in two trim levels – the GS and the GT. The GS has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 162 horsepower with a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic transmission. The GT offers a 3.8-liter V6 that produces 263 horsepower, standard with a six-speed automatic transmission or the optional five-speed automatic. There is also a Spyder Convertible model that offers a semi-power retractable soft-top.
