Offered in Sport and Turbo trim levels, the 2005 Subaru Baja is an SUV-inspired four door with a truck-like cargo bed for open top hauling. The Baja features four doors and a 165 horsepower 2.5-liter flat 4-cylinder in the base Sport and a 210 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder in the Turbo. Transmissions include a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual depending on the configuration. The Baja comes equipped with AWD and a nice list of luxury amenities, including air, cruise control, keyless entry, power accessories, AM/FM/CD audio and alloy wheels.
