A high-performance, small-production sports car, the 2006 Panoz Esperante is a two-passenger, exotically styled vehicle which is produced right here in the United States. The Esperante is available as a coupe or a convertible. The base engine, found in the base and GT trims, is a 4.6L V8 engine which produces 305 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque. In the GTLM trim, the same engine is used but power is boosted to 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The Esperante is RWD and comes standard with a five-speed manual in the base and GT trims, however the GTLM trim receives a six-speed manual.
