A new model for 2006, the Highlander Hybrid offers the same Base and Limited trim levels as the regular Highlander available in both two and four-wheel-drive versions, but the Highlander Hybrid offers a 3.3Liter V6 engine that produces 270HP linked to the Toyota Hybrid Synergy System. This system enables the vehicle to travel from 0-60 in under eight seconds, while achieving EPA estimates of 27 MPG.
