The Matrix is a carry-over from 2005, with the option of the Base model or XR trim. The Matrix is a five-door five-passenger economy utility vehicle offered with only one engine – the 1.8Liter inline four-cylinder that produces 126HP that can also be found in the Corolla (the car whose platform it shares). A five-speed manual transmission is standard with an optional four-speed automatic, in addition to several value option packages that are available.
