The heavy-duty versions of Chevrolet's full-size pickup, the Silverado--called the 2500HD (three-quarter-ton) and 3500 HD (one-ton)--are all-new for 2007, and improved in nearly every way. With styling that better differentiates them from the light-duty version, a more luxurious interior, more standard safety features, and a revised powertrain lineup, GM's new pickups have been highly anticipated. Also, the Z71 Off Road package is available on the heavy-duty models for the first time.

The new 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD have the segment-best gross combined weight rating of up to 18,500 pounds, and the segment-best trailer weight rating of 13,000 pounds--both important numbers considering their intended duty as heavy haulers and commercial rigs. And with extensive new noise-reduction measures, it has one of the quietest interiors among heavy-duty trucks.

I have a 2007 Chevrolet 2500 HD Crew Cab shortbed 4x4, where can I find the LT2 option?

NADA only attempts to quantify options that we believe add real value to a vehicle. There are hundreds of thousands of possible options in the used market for which we make no value distinction. That is not to say that because an option is not specifically mentioned by NADA it does not add value to a particular vehicle, it simply means that NADA makes no attempt to quantify its value.

In the case of your LT2, we do allow for a power seat option and the aluminum alloy wheels which were the major components of the LT2 package in our collective opinion. In addition to these options, the LT2 provides slightly different cloth seats, dual automatic AC, and fog lights. NADA makes no attempt to distinguish a value for these options and most of these are available a la carte for 2007.
