2007 Ford Expedition Values

New for 2007 and based off of the F-150 pick up, the Expedition holds up to eight passengers, and is now available in an EL (extended length) version. The extended length version is 14.8" longer then the standard chassis. There are four separate trim levels available - XLT, Eddie Bauer and Limited, in either two or four-wheel-drive. All models offer the Triton 5.4Liter V8 that produces 300HP as standard, linked to a newly redesigned six-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift mode for increased fuel economy.

Ford redesigned the Expedition for 2007. Aside from a new chassis and body, there is also a brand new model, the Expedition EL, which has a wheelbase 12 inches longer than the standard Expedition. Towing capacity increases by 300 pounds to 9,200 pounds and a six-speed automatic replaces the four-speed transmission previously offered.

Ford has always offered one of the best pick-up trucks on the market, and the new-for-2007 Ford Expedition uses the F-Series' stiffer chassis. The Expedition, particularly the EL, offer considerably more passenger space than the competition, especially in the third row. Plenty of trim levels and option package are available to transform the Expedition from a trusty workhorse into a luxurious passenger conveyance.
