A law enforcement version of the Ford Crown Victoria, the 2007 Ford Police Interceptor is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 engine (250 hp) that utilizes E85 flex fuel to improve fuel mileage. Transmission options are limited to a 4-speed automatic transmission. The brakes on the Police Interceptor have also been updated to aid in pursuit driving. 17-inch wheels and a heavy-duty frame/suspension rounds out the adjustments made to the Crown Victoria to make it law enforcement ready.
