Available in 5.0-liter and 5.5.-liter AMG configurations, the 2007 Mercedes-Benz G Class combines the ruggedness of an off-road vehicle with the elegant luxury of a Mercedes. In addition to a unique, box-like design, the G Class features a powerful 292 horsepower 5.0-liter gas-powered V8 mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission in the Base version and a 493 horsepower 5.5-lliter gas-powered V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic in the top-of-the-line AMG. If it’s off-road capabilities you want, the G class features full-time 4WD, ABS brakes, brake assist and stability control.
