A carry-over from 2006, the Ion is a four-door five-passenger car that’s offered in either sedan or quad-coupe configuration. All standard models feature a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 145 horsepower and comes linked with a five-speed manual transmission while a four-speed automatic ss an option. The sporty Red Line features a supercharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine which is good for 205 hp. The quad-coupe features rear-hinged swing-out doors for easy access to rear-seat passengers.
