2008 model year changes

Both Lexus RX models get only minor appearance changes for 2008, including new chrome door handles and a revised front grille. A new design for the 18-inch alloy wheels is also available. The 400h gets new blue hybrid badges. Two new colors--Desert Sage Metallic and Brandy Wine Mica--join the palette.

The RX 400h is a hybrid vehicle – otherwise known as a ‘green vehicle’ – that comes equipped with a 208 horsepower 3.3-liter gas/electric V6 engine mated to a 1-speed ECVT transmission with your choice of FWD or AWD. This four door crossover SUV offers seating capacity for up to five passengers and EPA estimates in the 27 City/24 Highway range. It comes nicely equipped with auto climate control, cruise, keyless entry, navigation, heated seats and ABS brakes.
