2008 model year changes

The Mazda6 wagon is no longer offered for 2008, nor is the MAZDASPEED variant. Standard wheels have been upgraded to 17-inch alloys, and a tire pressure monitoring system is now standard equipment. The Touring trim now includes an alarm system and a seven-speaker stereo with subwoofer, and the standard transmission is now an automatic.

Special features for 2008

The 2008 Mazda6 is one of the sportiest mid-size sedans on the market, and available in a wide range of prices and equipment levels. In its most basic form, the Mazda6 makes an economical yet fun-to-drive sedan. The unique five-door model provides an alternative for those who can't decide between a sporty sedan and the utility of a wagon. A 3.0L V6 is available on the S models and is available with a six-speed automatic transmission, which is a class-exclusive pairing.

The 2008 Mazda MAZDA6 remains a competitive choice for people who want a fun driving experience, decent power and attractive styling. It’s offered in i and s models, in Sport, Sport Value Edition, Touring and Grand Touring trim levels. It features engines ranging from a 156 horsepower 2.3-liter inline 4-cylinder to a 212 horsepower 3.0-liter V6 with your choice of automatic or manual transmission and a four door Sedan or a five door Hatchback body style. Standard equipment includes air, cruise, keyless entry, power controls, AM/FM/CD/MP3/Satellite audio and ABS.
