Used 2008 Mitsubishi Raider Values
The Mitsubishi Raider lineup has been downsized for 2008, and the Durocross and SE trim levels have been dropped. Mitsubishi Raiders are now powered by a 3.7L 210-hp V6 with 235 lb-ft of torque, and last year's optional 4.7L 235-hp V8 has been discontinued. The 2008 Mitsubishi Raider mid-size pickup truck comes in two body styles -- extended cab and "Double Cab" crew cab -- and a single LS trim level. The Raider Double Cab is available in either 2WD or 4WD; the extended cab is 2WD only. A 4-speed automatic transmission is standard on Double Cabs, while extended cab models come with a Getrag 6-speed manual, and automatic transmission is an option. The Raider extended cab has reverse-opening rear doors and a 6-ft 6-in bed, while the Double Cab has 4 full-size doors and a 5-ft 4-in bed. The extended cab's optional Power and Convenience Package buys you much of the Double Cab's features.Read more Read less
For 2008, Mitsubishi's durable Raider pickup range has been further narrowed to better target the truck to consumers. The DuroCross model has been discontinued, as has the SE. The optional 235-horsepower V8 has also been dropped, leaving the 3.7L V6 as the sole powerplant. LS-level trucks in either one extended cab style or two double cab styles are the only available models in the lineup. All Raiders receive a revised dashboard.
Maneuverability compared to full-size trucks; bold styling; modest V6 power; transferable five-year/60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
The 2008 Mitsubishi Raider is based on the popular Dodge Dakota. As such, it rides on a capable chassis, but features a distinctive, edgy look all its own in keeping with the current Mitsubishi model line. When introduced in 2006, the Raider was ranked Best in Class in AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction study. With the V6, the Raider can haul between 2,950 pounds and 4,150 pounds, depending on drivetrain.
