Honda Civic safety equipment includes antilock brakes, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags and active front head restraints. During crash testing, the 2009 Honda Civic earned a perfect five-star rating for frontal impacts, while side-impact tests resulted in a four-star rating for front passengers and five stars for rear passengers.
