The front-wheel-drive Pontiac G3 is equipped with a 1.6L four-cylinder engine producing 106 hp and 105 lb-ft of torque paired to a five-speed manual transmission, while a four-speed automatic transmission with hold-control mode is optional. According to Pontiac, the fuel economy estimate for the G3 on the highway is 34 mpg. Pontiac G3 standard safety features include dual-stage frontal airbags, side-impact airbags and driver and right-front passenger airbags with the Passenger Sensing System.
