A midsize five-passenger SUV, the Touareg 2 offers the VR6 and V8 trim levels, which are both equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive and a low-range gear as standard. The VR6 trim level is powered by a 3.6L V6 engine that generates 280 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque and gets fuel economy in the range of 16 mpg city/20 mpg hwy and 16 mpg in combined driving.
