The 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD is a one-ton full-size pickup truck. There is a choice between a dual or single rear wheel setup, with the dual-rear wheels providing increased payload and towing capacity. The base engine is a 6.0L V8 which produces 360 hp and is linked to a six-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission. The 3500HD is available with a regular, crew, or extended cab and with a choice between 2WD or 4WD. A 6.6L turbodiesel engine is optional and provides even more power to finish any job.
