Special features for 2010

The Dodge Nitro is categorized as a mid-sized SUV and not as a crossover (sedan/SUV), yet its bold look and style are comparable to a Hummer and other truck-based vehicles. For buyers looking for an SUV that's an affordable workhorse, the Dodge Nitro has the strength and cargo room of larger vehicles, yet has a price comparable to a small or midsize sedan.

The 2010 Dodge Nitro is a mid-size SUV available with 2WD or 4WD and seating for up to five passengers. The base level engine is a 3.7L V6 which is linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and produces 210 hp. On the SXT trim you can opt for the 4.0L V6 which comes with a five-speed automatic transmission and produces 260 hp. Both trims come well equipped with standard equipment like keyless entry and satellite radio.
