The 2010 Toyota 4Runner is a rugged and off-road capable mid-size SUV which has been totally redesigned for the new year. The 4Runner is now wider and taller than the previous generation, and it is available with an optional third row of seating which allows seven passengers to fit inside. The base engine is a 2.7L four-cylinder which produces 157 hp and 178 lb-ft of torque, is paired with a four-speed automatic, and is only available with RWD. A larger 4.0L 270 hp V6 is available and it is fitted with a five-speed automatic and the choice of RWD or 4WD.
