All new for this year, the 2011 BMW 5 series has been redesigned inside and out and features new styling, handling, and performance. This executive 5-passenger sedan comes with your choice of powertrains including a 3.0-liter 240 hp I6, 3.0-liter 300 hp Turbo I6, or 4.4-liter 400 hp Twin-Turbo V8 which can be linked to a 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission depending on configuration. With the V8, this equates to sub 5-second 0-60 times while achieving up to 5 percent better fuel economy than previous models. A stiffened chassis structure, revised i-drive system, parking assist feature, and many more enhanced luxury and technology offerings make the BMW 5 series an ever-present benchmark in the midsize luxury sport sedan segment.
