The 2011 Porsche Cayman is a mid-engine sports coupe that is powered by a 2.9-liter flat-6 engine that produces 265 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. Upgrading to the Cayman S model grants the driver 3.4-liter flat-6 engine that produces 320 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. For a even greater boost in performance Porsche has introduced an all new Cayman R trim level that loses unwanted weight and gets performance raised to 330 hp. All Cayman models are RWD and come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission but can be upgraded to a 7-speed PDK transmission. The Cayman models get a range of gas mileage between an EPA estimated 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.
