Special features for 2014

The 2014 Buick Verano is at the leading edge of a new kind of sedan -- one that's compact, yet refined, comfort-oriented and luxurious, yet at a price that's a bit lower than traditional luxury brands. At the same time, the Verano Turbo can accelerate to 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds and the available manual gearbox gives it credibility as a sport sedan. The Verano also stands out from other upscale compact sedans through Buick's Quiet Tuning approach, which emphasizes isolation, smoothness and quiet for the cabin, and for its feature set, which is remarkably complete for a sedan in this price range -- including some impressive connectivity and safety technology.

Now offered with more standard features, the 2014 Buick Verano is a FWD compact luxury sedan available with a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine (180 hp) or optional 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (250 hp). Transmission options consist of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic. Fuel mileage is an EPA estimated 21 mpg city and 32 highway. Features include 18-inch wheels, power sunroof, hands-free phone capabilities, premium sound system, leather seats, rear vision camera, remote vehicle start, and steering wheel mounted controls. Safety is comprised of 10 standard airbags, park assist, blind zone alert, Stabilitrak, anti-lock braking (ABS), and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The Verano is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
