The standard F-TYPE is powered by a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 (340 hp/332 lb-ft of torque) and the S trim is equipped with a tuned version of the same engine (380 hp/339 lb-ft of torque). For increased performance Jaguar offers a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that yields 495 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. RWD is paired to a 8-speed QuickShift transmission for fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 16 mpg city to 28 mpg highway, depending on engine selection.
