The only street-legal Lotus product sold in the United States, the 2014 Evora is a mid-engined sports car developed on an aluminum bonded chassis. Rather than focusing strictly on engine power, great emphasis is devoted in the handling of the 2014 Lotus Evora. Riding on a fully independent double wishbone suspension featuring Bilstein shocks and Eibach coaxial coil spring, the Lotus Evora boasts well-mannered handling. AP racing four-piston brake calipers backed by an anti-lock braking system co-developed with Bosch allows the Lotus Evora to slow with confidence. For 2014, the Lotus Evora and Evora S trim levels are offered. Providing 276 horsepower from a Toyota-derived 3.5-liter V-6 engine, the base Evora can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in as little as 4.8 seconds. Fitting a Harrop supercharger unit to the 3.5-liter V-6 engine, the 2014 Lotus Evora S allows engine power to reach 345 horsepower. A six-speed manual transmission and IPS six-speed automatic gearbox is available on both 2014 Lotus Evora trim models. Adjustable front Recaro leather sport seats, air conditioning and an Alpine audio system are standard on the 2014 Lotus Evora. Depending on customer preference, the 2014 Lotus Evora interior can be factory configured as a 2-passenger layout or fitted with a rear seat as a 2+2 passenger. A series of interior trim choices are available on the 2014 Lotus Evora.
