2014 Porsche Panamera Values
The 2014 Porsche Panamera is a luxury sport sedan available in Executive extended wheelbase variants on the 4S and Turbo trim levels. The standard Panamera is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces 310 hp while the S trim grants the driver a boost up to 420 hp due to a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. For even more performance the Panamera Turbo (S) trim offers 520 hp (570 hp). Hybrid enthusiasts have the option of the Panamera S e-Hybrid (a plug-in) powered by a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 hybrid engine to produce 333 hp and 428 lb-ft of torque. The Panamera comes standard with RWD, but can be upgraded to AWD by opting for a Panamera 4 or Panamera 4S trim. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated 18 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, depending on engine/transmission selection (standard 6-speed manual, hybrid 8-speed automatic and optional 7-speed PDK transmission). Features include navigation, surround sound system, rear seat entertainment system, zonal climate control, automatic entry, and rear-view camera. Safety features are comprised of stability management, anti-lock braking (ABS), advanced airbag protection and anti-theft protection. The Panamera is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.Read more Read less
The exterior of the 2014 Panamera gets some mild refreshing. Porsche adds a plug-in hybrid version of the Panamera with a new higher-capacity battery and stronger electric motor than the ones that came in last year's Hybrid. It also gets longer versions of the Turbo S model, called "Executive." The Platinum trims don't return. The S trims now get a twin-turbo 3.0L V6 that makes 420 horsepower. It replaces the 3.6L V6 from last year.
Unmistakable styling, Porsche-standard performance and luxury, seating for four in well-appointed interior; hybrid powertrain available
The Panamera's front engine design may depart with traditional Porsche design, but its elongated shape provides comfortable seating for everyone--even for passengers over 6 feet tall. It features up to 45 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded. And, it wouldn't be a Porsche if it didn't out-handle and out-accelerate almost everything else on the road. Two hybrid models bring performance and green credibility, while the Turbo S could be the most powerful station wagon available. The base trim starts at around $78,000, but there is no other car available that looks, handles, or hauls like a Panamera.
