The high-powered performance version of the Maybach 62 debuted in 2007, dubbed the 62 S. It featured larger tires, sports-tuned suspension and braking, and signature interior and exterior styling that set it apart from its cousin. The 62 S coasted through 2008 and 2009 relatively unchanged. In 2010, the mega-car saw the addition of Bluetooth integration for rear passengers, as well as powered, all-closing rear doors. The 62 S got an upgraded engine in 2011, able to make 620 horsepower, an increase of 16 from the previous years model. An optional 19 HDTV was offered for customers, able to be placed in the rear, in addition to optional privacy glass and intercom system. 2012 saw no major changes.
Taking the longer wheelbase of the 62 and performance engine of the 57S, you combine them to get the ultra-exotic 2007 Maybach 62S luxury sedan which is one of the most exclusive and sophisticated rides on the planet.
