Porsche Panamera Models and Panamera History

Introduced as a performance sedan in 2010, the luxurious Panamera by Porsche made its debut, flaunting a beefy 4.8-liter eight-cylinder engine that could crank out 500 horsepower. In 2011, two new models were added that offered a toned down V6 engine with an optional turbo kit. A Turbo S was added to the fleet in 2012, marking the only changes for that year. A new GTS model was included for 2013, alongside the Platinum trim level for V6 models. In 2014, a long-wheelbase Executive body style was unveiled as was the S E-Hybrid plug-in. A new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine replaced the 4.8-liter V8 engine, and variable-ratio steering was added as a standard feature.
