Existing as Infiniti's entry-level vehicle from 1991 to 2002, the G line sedan received a completely new image for 2003 with the G35 Sedan. A bold and elegant exterior of the new sedan featured an aerodynamic profile adhered to a 0.27 coefficient of drag. An all-new 260-horsepower V-6 engine found under the hood of the Infiniti G35 Sedan provided as full sport sedan driving sensation with either a five-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. Offered only with rear-wheel drive in 2003, an all-wheel drive version of the G35 Sedan was added for 2004. Engine power from the 3.5-liter V-6 was upgraded in 2005 to 280 horsepower with the automatic-equipped G35 Sedan and 298 for models fitted with a manual transmission. Comfort inside the G35 Sedan remained at a high standard. A six-speaker audio system was standard while leather seating was included for no-cost on models sold after 2005. The Infiniti G35 received a massive make-over for 2007 featured fresh styling as well as a wider track and considerably stiffer body. Four-Wheel Active Steer system was optional on the 2007 Infiniti G35 Sedan. Adding a larger engine in 2009, the G35 Sedan became the G37 Sedan.
