In 1998, Isuzu finally imported its popular VehiCross to the U.S., much to the joy of eager buyers. In 2000, Isuzu upgraded the wheels to 18, a 2 increase from the previous years model. It also included A/C in all models standard and added the longest warranty offered on a car at the time, a 10-year/120,000-mile powertrain warranty. In 2001, the only addition to the VehiCROSS was seat-tether anchors for child safety seats.
